When you ride with CMHA Alberta Southeast Region, you help raise awareness and funds for our local Addictions Crisis Worker program, ensuring individuals are receiving the help they need to enhance their quality of life.
The Addiction Crisis Worker (ACW) program responds to individuals who are experiencing crisis situations due to substance use. The goal of the service is help stabilize the individual, assist in building a support network, and cut down on the use of emergency services. Throughout the program’s three-year existence, over 400 local individuals have utilized the service. The ACW program has proven to be a much-needed community service that continues to meet people where they are at on their road to recovery.
