RIDE DON’T HIDE New Brunswick

Each Spring, CMHA branches across the country come together annually to hold a bike tour within their community to build awareness for mental health and raise funds.

The Ride Don't Hide event has already been implemented in other provinces, where it has successfully raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support mental health initiatives across Canada. This year we're breaking new ground by bringing Ride Don't Hide to New Brunswick for the first time!

This year, with the pandemic making it hard for so many of us to get the help we need and with so many people not feeling like themselves, I believe our Ride Don’t Hide project is more important than ever!

But, as we face a global pandemic, we are unable to gather in-person in many regions to show our support for mental health.

However, that won’t stop us from showing our support for mental health and getting help to the people who need it the most.

This year we are excited to bring Ride Don’t Hide New Brunswick to local businesses and engage with employees to improve their mental health.

In June 2021, thousands of riders—and walkers, runners, yogis, spinners, dancers, families, rope-jumpers, HIIT trainers and more—will come together to ride outside, ride inside or ride in spirit to raise funds for mental health in their own communities and to raise funds for mental health to get one more person the help they need.

We’re inviting you and your colleagues – and your friends and family – to join the movement as a team. We’re challenging each of you to move, however you do it, for 330 minutes in the month of June while raising $330 to help one more person get the help they need. That’s just 11 mins of activity each day of the month!  Easy right?!

But that’s not all.

Our friends at the John T Clark Family Foundation have generously offered us $20,000 to support Ride Don’t Hide if we can raise that much (or more!) on our own before June 30, 2021!

Imagine the impact a gift of that size could have on so many in our community! Please help us reach our $20,000 goal.

P.S. Please help CMHA of NB raise $20,000 to support Ride Don’t Hide by June 30.  It’s the only way for us to access the additional $20,000 the John T Clark Foundation has offered us.  There are so many people we’d be able to help with a gift like that…
