Each year 1.6 million Canadians report unmet mental health care needs, and the demand for services has escalated due to the pandemic. Ride Don’t Hide is a way to take care of your physical and mental health, while raising vital funds for CMHA Lambton-Kent programs and services!

This June you can cycle, run, stretch, dance, meditate or anything you want.

Loneliness is as bad for your health as smoking. Ride Don’t Hide brings together teams, families, friends, workplaces and communities to rally around the most important cause of our lifetimes.

As a participant, you’ll get tips, tools, tricks and activities to help you take care of your own mental health, while taking care of others. 

 

HOW IT WORKS 

Ride Outside

Get outside and feel the wind on your face. Cycling and fresh air are good for anyone's mental and physical health. Ride- or run, walk, hike, you name it - anytime, anywhere as long or as little as you like, just be sure to follow the recommendations from public health authorities, which may change on day-to-day basis. 

Ride Inside 

Spina and sweat it out on a stationary cycle or find other ways to move your body indoors. Spin, run on the treadmill, run the stairs. Set your goal and work towards it daily. 

Ride In Spirit

No bike? No problem! You can Ride in Spirit by practicing yoga, meditating, dancing, journaling, baking, knitting, reading...Set a mental or physical health goal and work towards it every day.

 Register and choose your own adventure – pick the route, the activity and the goal that excites you. 

Set your own goal for total minutes of activity in June 2021 (Pro tip – you can start on the road to that goal right away!)
