100km Century Challenge

For the experienced cyclist

Designed for experienced cyclists, the 100km Century Challenge route features steep inclines and fast downhills. Not for the faint of heart, but the picturesque scenery that is uniquely Caledon makes it well worth the effort! Note that this is an entirely road-based route - a road bike, helmet and cycling shorts are strongly recommended. There are three rest stations located along the route.

Duration: at 25 km/h it will take 4 hours to complete this route.

50km Caledon Challenge

For the intermediate cyclist

Half as challenging as the 100km Century Challenge, the 50km Caledon Challenge is perfect for intermediate cyclists. The route follows the second (less hilly) half of the 100km Century Challenge, giving riders the chance to experience the beauty of Caledon Hills over a shorter distance with moderate inclines. A road bike, helmet and cycling shorts are recommended for this route. There are two rest stations located along the route.

Start time: 9:00 am

Duration: At 16.5 km/h it will take 3 hours to complete this route.

30km Caledon Quarter

For the Novice cyclist

Ok, so it's a little more than a "quarter", but you'll experience the beauty of Caledon Hills on this shorter route with moderate inclines. If you prefer a shorter ride on the road or you're a beginner cyclist looking for a challenge, then this one is for you! Riders can stop at two rest stations located along the route.

Start time: 10:00 am

Duration: At 10 km/h it will take 2.5 hours to complete this route.

5km, 10km or 20km Family Trail Ride

A traffic-free ride suitable for all ages and abilities along the beautiful Trans Canada Trail. Recommended for children and families, there's lots to see and do as your family explores the trail system. This route doubles back on itself and is supported by two rest stations (three if you ride the whole 20km).

Start time: 10:15 am

Duration: With the option to turn back at any point, the time it takes to complete this route is entirely up to you.

5km Walk for Hope - Walk for Life

The Walk for Hope - Walk for Life was inspired by Mary Margaret Hanan, a local mother and teacher, as a way to honour the life and memory of her son John who died of suicide. A 5km trail walk along the Trans Canada Trail, this route is suitable for participants of all ages and abilities and includes a rest station at the 2.5km mark. Pets are welcome!
