FOR THE 1ST TIME EVER ALL CMHA BRANCHES ACROSS MANITOBA - ALONG WITH YOU - ARE JOINING THE MOVEMENT

This year’s Ride Don’t Hide Manitoba will be a blend of virtual and in person rides as we are able.

Folks across Manitoba are invited to track their minutes through a new and exciting Ride Don’t Hide Mobile App. We are bringing back  “Spirit Week”- five days of free online programming for all ages promoting mental well-being and raising money for CMHA’s Mental Health Initiatives. In addition, we are hosting a Family Day of virtual and in-person rides as we are able.

Programming will include: virtual workouts, mental health tips, bannock making, cycling tips, family fun activities and more!

Why Should You Participate?

So many of us don’t feel like ourselves these days, and the pandemic is making it harder to get the help we need.

Ride Don’t Hide and Spirit Week, is one way to take care of your own mental health, physical health and your community.

It costs approximately $330 for each Canadian to have access to mental health resources in Canada. How can you help ensure your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours will have access to mental health programs and services, when they need it?

Register and start fundraising today!

How It Works

Ride Don’t Hide Manitoba and Spirit Week 2021 is a “choose-your-own-adventure.”

You decide how—and how much—to get involved. Ride Outside, Ride Inside or Ride in Spirit.

Ride Outside with a goal of 100 km or simply go out for a “leisurely” Sunday ride.

Ride Inside by participating in one or more Spirit Week activities or dust off your stationary bike and track your kms while binging on Netflix. Or Ride in Spirit. Because it doesn’t have to be a literal ride. Cross fit in your basement, do yoga in the living room, take a brisk walk before you start work or take 10 minutes in your day for mindfulness. However you take care of yourself this spring – that’s your Ride.

And sharing it with others – that’s your ‘Don’t Hide.’ Take care of your own mental health, while taking care of others.

RIDE DON'T HIDE MANITOBA IS A CHANCE TO...

MOVE MORE.
Set your own goal, move your body in your own way, and improve your physical and mental health!

GIVE BACK.

Ride Don’t Hide Manitoba brings together teams, families, friends, workplaces and communities to rally around the most important cause of our lifetimes.

FEEL BETTER.
As a participant, you’ll get tips, tools, ideas, and activities to help you take care of your own mental health, while taking care of others.
